The meeting will bring leading investors together with the heads of Nigeria’s most accomplished energy companies to meet with the government institutions overseeing the development of the country’s burgeoning power sector. Over 50 public and private sector decision makers will address 300 power developers and investors to discuss the driving forces behind power development in Nigeria. The investment summit will underpin Nigeria as a hub for regional gas development as well as a crucial market for clean and renewable energy. 

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) today hosted Foreign Defence Advisers/Attachés serving in the country. They were in the Commission on a fact mission and were received by the Ag. ES/CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum and her Management team. She briefed them on the investment climate and business opportunities, including the priority sectors of President Muhhamadu Buhari’s administration.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission ( NIPC ) and CGC Company (a Chinese Construction Company) have hosted China (Guangdong-Nigerian Business Forum in Abuja. The Forum was in honour of the visiting Chinese Investment delegation to Nigeria. The Ag.ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum hosted the delegation at Abuja Sheraton Hotel today Sunday.

In order to provide "After Care Services" to existing investors in the country, the Ag ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum has paid a familiarization visit to CGC Nigeria, a Chinese Company based in Abuja. The Company is into infrastructural development, water projects, road construction, Agricultural projects amongst others.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has continued to play host to Foreign Investors who are desirous to invest in the economy and seek for collaboration with the Commission. Today, the Ag ES/CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum led the Management team of the Commission to host investors from South Africa.

In a bid to strengthen the economy of Nigeria and Sudan, the Ambassador of Sudan in Nigeria hosted the Management of NIPC led by the Ag ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum to a dinner which was attended by the Governor of Central Bank of Sudan. The dinner discussed on the way forward.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC ) in collaboration with the Italian Embassy hosted an Investment delegation from Italy to a Business Forum. The large delegation came with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Italy who visited the country on Thursday, 4th August 2016.
