In continuation of her effort to proactively reposition the Commission and ensure that its activities are given the publicity it deserves, the Ag ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum has visited the Management of Media Trust PLC,publishers of Daily Trust Newspapers. At the meeting, the Commission and Daily Trust Newspapers promised to partner and promote the abundant investment opportunities in the country to the international business community.

In recognition of her proactive activities at the helm of affairs in the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, the Ag ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum has been recognised by the Media Debate Initiative (MDI), a Civil Society Organisation. She was presented with an Award on the 12th of August 2016.

The Ag.ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum, led the Management of the Commission on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Hon. Raji Fashola in his office on Mon. 16.08.2106. The visit was in continuation of her effort to collaborate with relevant agencies of government on investment related matters.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission ( NIPC )  led some Chinese Investors on a business visit to the  Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hajiya Khadija Bukar Ibrahim. The Ag.ES / CEO of NIPC, Hajiya Ladi Katagum led the delegation. The Chinese Investors are in the country to follow up on MoU signed during President Muhammad Buhari visit to China in April.
 

In its effort to promote the Solid Minerals Sector and attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the economy, the Ag ES / CEO of NIPC, Ms. Ladi Katagum has visited the Honourable Minister of State, Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, Hon. Bawa Bwari in his office on Thursday, June, 2nd 2016.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Communion ( NIPC ) and the Mexican Embassy in Nigeria hosted an Investment delegation from Mexico to a Seminar on Doing Business in Nigeria on Monday, June 6th, 2016 . The Ag.ES / CEO of NIPC, Ms. Ladi Katagum addressed the delegation on Investment opportunities in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has promised to attract investments to the States as they pay host to Nigerian Investment Council of USA in Abuja. The Council which had promised to collaborate with the Commission to attract profitable investment from the United States of American is presently facilitating in flow of investment worth 50billion dollars into the Energy and industrial sector.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) now has an Acting Executive Secretary/CEO. She is Ms. Ladi Hauwa Katagum.
