In its determination to attract the much needed Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the country, especially in the Real Sectors, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) is to synergies with Foreign Embassies in the country in order to achieve its mandate.

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Mrs. Uju Aisha Hassan Baba has called on the Canadian High Commissioner in Nigeria, Mr. Perry John Calderwood to partner with the Commission to increase the investment inflow from Canada to Nigeria.

Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission recently had a targeted Investment Mission to the Qingdao Province of China.
The Commission’s delegation was led by Alhaji Hassan Sadiq Abubakar, who represented the Executive Secretary.

The Executive Secretary, Mrs. Uju Aisha Hassan Baba on Thursday, 15th October 2015, while welcoming the delegation, maintained that Nigeria remains the preferred Investment destination in Africa despite the World Bank report on the Doing Business which ranked the country 170th among the 189 countries survey for 2014.
