The Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), Dr Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo, led a management team on a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Ms Yewande Sadiku.
Dr Obatoyinbo expressed appreciation for the warm reception extended to his team, stating that the visit was intended to build on the existing relationship between PSIN and NIPC and to explore further strategic partnership in areas of mutual benefit. He also used the occasion to conduct an impact assessment of the training previously delivered to NIPC staff and to identify additional capacity-building needs.
He noted that NIPC has been one of the most engaged organisations in the PSIN training ecosystem, citing capacity-building exercises in 2016 and 2018, with the 2018 engagement conducted in 11 batches — the highest recorded for any government organisation to date.
The Executive Secretary, Ms Sadiku, welcomed the delegation and reiterated that staff training and capacity building are central to the Commission's service delivery agenda. She expressed confidence in PSIN's ability to support NIPC's continued improvement, affirming that "NIPC will continue to patronise and partner with PSIN." The Acting Director of Human Resource Management, Mr John Oseji, also pledged his commitment to sustaining the partnership.
