EiE Nigeria has commended NIPC for breaking new ground in transparency. In a publication in BusinessDay newspaper on 10 January 2020, the organisation stated that NIPC is one of the leading Ministries, Departments and Agencies committed to upholding the values of transparency and accountability in Nigeria.
The commendation highlighted NIPC's proactive public disclosure of legal, financial, procurement and other reports pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, urging other MDAs to emulate NIPC's example, noting that "it will promote efficiency and effectiveness in Nigeria's public service."
