On 11 December 2023, Ms Aisha Rimi officially began her new role as Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
This appointment, alongside others within the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, aligns with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, marking a new era for Nigeria's economic trajectory.
Ms Rimi said she was honoured to be entrusted with this significant responsibility and ready to draw on her extensive experience in law, business and investment to position NIPC as the leading facilitator of sustainable and impactful investments in Nigeria.
Her vision for NIPC includes attracting high-quality investments that align with national development goals, creating an enabling environment conducive to business growth and ensuring investors feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
