On the sidelines of Executive Secretary/CEO Ms Aisha Rimi's visit to Gombe State, the NIPC delegation, alongside Gombe's Commissioners of Finance and of Trade, Investment and Commerce, toured the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park and its Oil and Rice Mill Clusters.
The 1,000-hectare industrial hub is strategically located with reliable infrastructure, power, water and transport links, facilitating smooth operations and offering opportunities in agribusiness, textiles, pharmaceuticals, technology and tourism.
The Rice and Oil Mill Clusters are set to enhance local production, reduce import dependency and support sustainable agricultural practices, helping transform Gombe into an industrial powerhouse.
Ms Rimi commended Gombe's efforts and advocated for the introduction of educational programmes for youth within these clusters, to keep them updated with the latest technologies.
