NIPC's Executive Secretary/CEO Ms Aisha Rimi and Deputy Director Ms Victoria Aigbedion joined His Excellency Kashim Shettima, Vice President of Nigeria, along with corporate leaders and investors, at the Inaugural Existing Foreign Direct Investors Roundtable to discuss the future of foreign investment in Nigeria.
The event was hosted by the Senior Special Assistant on Investment in the Office of the Vice President, in collaboration with the American Business Council and PwC.
In his keynote address, Vice President Shettima emphasised Nigeria's resilience amid global economic challenges, noting that with a GDP of $477.38 billion and a population of over 220 million, Nigeria remains Africa's largest economy and is poised for greater growth.
NIPC highlighted its proactive efforts, including granting Pioneer Status Incentives to 52 companies, which have attracted over N208 billion in investments and created more than 4,000 direct jobs, positioning Nigeria as one of Africa's most attractive investment destinations.
