Day 2 of NIPC's working visit to the North West concluded with a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kano, His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf. In his remarks, the Governor pledged to ensure continued collaboration with NIPC, aiming to streamline the business environment and boost the state's economy. It was jointly agreed that the partnership would create more opportunities for investors, support local industries and promote sustainable economic development in Kano.
Discussions additionally included support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), infrastructure development and strategies to attract more Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The collaboration is set to open up numerous opportunities in multiple sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing and power generation.
