On 7 December 2024, the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, GCON, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the Matching Plant for Cartons by Mamuda Beverages at Challawa Industrial Estate, Kano State.
This state-of-the-art facility is set to revolutionise local carton production, providing efficient packaging solutions for Nigeria's burgeoning beverage industry.
The initiative aligns closely with the Federal Government's vision of fostering industrial self-reliance and promoting economic diversification, heralding a promising future for Kano State's economy.
In attendance was Ms Aisha Rimi, Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), who underscored the project's strategic importance in enhancing Nigeria's industrial capacity and driving economic growth.
