On 9 January 2025, NIPC participated in the launch of the MZV Granite Industrial Factory at Abuja Technology Village.
NIPC was represented by the Deputy Director, Investment Promotion Department, Mr Emmanuel Longza. The launch of the granite factory marks a significant advancement for Nigeria's mining and industrial sectors. This facility aligns perfectly with the Federal Government's objectives of economic diversification and industrialisation.
Key features of the facility include state-of-the-art machinery for granite processing, strong capacity to meet local and export market demands, environmentally sustainable practices, and the creation of over 40 jobs with plans for future expansion.
The launch drew attention from ministers, government officials, industry leaders, and diplomats, all reinforcing the critical importance of economic growth, skill development, and enhancing local content. The tour of the facility showcased exceptional innovation and operational efficiency.
This groundbreaking milestone not only fosters job creation but also fortifies Nigeria's mining sector, reiterating NIPC's unwavering commitment to supporting such investments through favourable policies and incentives.
