NIPC Congratulates Lagos Free Zone on $50 Million IFC Investment Agreement 01

On 7 February 2025, NIPC congratulated Lagos Free Zone on its signing ceremony for IFC's $50 million investment in the zone.

This is a strategic milestone that underscores Nigeria's commitment to fostering industrialisation, enhancing economic diversification, and integrating closely into global trade networks. As Nigeria's first private special economic zone with a deep seaport, Lagos Free Zone continues to attract both local and international businesses, strengthening the nation's position as a top investment destination.

NIPC extended its commendation to the parent company, the Singapore-based Tolaram, which has been a long-term investor in Nigeria, for its visionary leadership in driving this multi-billion-dollar infrastructure project. Lagos Free Zone has become a true haven for foreign investments, providing world-class facilities and a thriving ecosystem for businesses to flourish.

NIPC remains steadfast in its mission to promote and facilitate investments that accelerate Nigeria's economic transformation, and looks forward to seeing Lagos Free Zone's continued impact on industrial growth and job creation.
