On 9 March 2025, in celebration of International Women's Day, the Executive Secretary of NIPC was represented by the Director of Investor Relations, Mrs Lovina Kayode, and Ms Tolulope Adeniyi, at the Women Empowerment Summit organised by Commonwealth Business Women (CBW) Africa in Lagos.
The summit brought together leaders, policymakers and industry experts to discuss strategies for fostering women's participation in leadership, business and investment.
NIPC actively participated in the panel discussion on 'Unlocking Africa's Potential: Strategies for Attracting Sustainable Investments in Nigeria', reaffirming the Commission's commitment to driving inclusive economic growth.
Notable attendees included the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr (Mrs) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; the Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism & Creative Economy, Barr Hannatu Musa Musawa; and the Director General and CEO of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Mr Segun Ajayi-Kadir.
NIPC continues to champion women's empowerment and sustainable investments in Nigeria.
