Mrs Lovina Kayode, Director of Investor Relations at the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), represented the Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi, at the 6th General Meeting of the National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment (NCITI), Nigeria's apex advisory body on matters of industry, trade and investment.
Organised by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) and chaired by the Honourable Minister, the meeting convened stakeholders from the public and private sectors to develop actionable strategies for economic transformation and industrial growth.
Key priorities discussed included optimising Special Economic Zones (SEZs) for industrial competitiveness, drawing on digital technologies for trade facilitation and ease of doing business, and enhancing access to finance to open up sustainable and inclusive investment opportunities.
NIPC remains steadfast in its mandate to shape progressive policy, enable investment and support Nigeria's economic diversification agenda through strategic partnerships and impactful reforms.
