The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in the 10th Annual SME Conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, themed "Harnessing Economic and Investment Opportunities through SMEs" and hosted by Wider Perspective Limited in collaboration with the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHACCIMA).
NIPC was represented by South South Zonal Head Mr Okeke Nchege and Rivers State Desk Officer Mr Sunday Ede, who joined key stakeholders across the SME and investment ecosystem to discuss how small and medium enterprises can open up Nigeria's vast economic potential.
Mr Nchege reaffirmed the Federal Government's unwavering support through NIPC's mandate of facilitating investor engagement, providing incentives and ensuring regulatory transparency, while encouraging local and international investors to be part of Nigeria's transformative growth journey.
The conference, which also marked its 10th anniversary with special recognition awards for institutions contributing to SME growth, including NIPC, offered a valuable platform for collaboration with PHACCIMA, the Uyo Chamber, and the Rivers and Bayelsa Investment Promotion Agencies, reinforcing NIPC's commitment to building a thriving, investment-friendly Nigeria.
