On 23 to 25 June 2025, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), led by Executive Secretary Ms Aisha Rimi, participated in the Second Session of the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism and the Nigeria-Brazil Business and Investment Forum (BIF), held in Abuja, on the sidelines of the official visit of Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin to Nigeria.

At the Forum, Ms Victoria Aigbedion, Deputy Director of Investment Promotion, delivered a compelling presentation on "Policies, Incentives and Investment Opportunities", highlighting Nigeria's strong investment climate, targeted sector incentives, and success stories of thriving multinational investments.

Over seven bilateral memoranda of understanding were signed across key sectors, including agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, creative industries, and manufacturing, signalling a new era of strategic economic collaboration between Nigeria and Brazil.

As the national investment promotion agency, NIPC remains at the forefront of positioning Nigeria as Africa's top destination for sustainable investment, with the Commission looking forward to tangible outcomes such as increased foreign direct investment inflows, job creation, and sector-specific partnerships that drive inclusive growth.
