The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) proudly participated in the Türkiye–Africa Business and Economic Forum (TABEF) 2025, held at the Istanbul Convention Center, represented by Aisha Wando, Deputy Director/Head of the States Coordination Department, and Bashirat Suleiman Ohunene of the Department of Investor Relations, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO, Aisha Rimi.
Organised by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade, with the support of the African Union and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEİK), the Forum brought together trailblazers, policymakers and investors from across Africa and Türkiye, including the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The event served as a key platform for deepening trade ties, exploring cross-border investment opportunities, and strengthening partnerships between Türkiye and African nations through government-to-government, government-to-business and business-to-business engagements.
At the Forum, NIPC actively engaged with both local and foreign investors, building new relationships while reinforcing existing collaborations with MDAs and strategic partners. As Nigeria's gateway to investment, the Commission continues to position the country as Africa's preferred destination for high-impact investments, sustainable partnerships and inclusive economic growth.
