NIPC Joins Nigeria-EU Health Investment Forum in Abuja

NIPC Reception

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in the Nigeria-EU Health Investment Forum, held on 30 October 2025 at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Shettima Hall, Abuja, a key platform advancing Nigeria's healthcare and pharmaceutical investment agenda.

Representing NIPC, Mrs Lovina Kayode, Director of Investor Relations, joined a high-level panel discussion on "Investment in Health Manufacturing and Financing," spotlighting the critical role of strategic partnerships, innovative financing models, and sustainable local production in transforming Nigeria's health-sector value chain.

The session underscored NIPC's catalytic role in connecting investors, government and development partners, fostering a strong investment ecosystem that supports local pharmaceutical production, job creation and health-sector resilience.

Three significant memoranda of understanding were signed at the forum to drive the next phase of Nigeria's health-industrial transformation, covering local manufacturing of health, immunisation and nutrition commodities, quality uplift for local medicine standards, and strengthening reproductive health and rights in West Africa, aligned with the EU Global Gateway MAV+ Initiative.
