The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) joined the official unveiling of the Ajaokuta Economic City, also known as the Kogi–Hunan Free Trade Zone, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, a flagship project set to attract an estimated US$2–5 billion in foreign direct investment over the next seven years.
NIPC's Executive Secretary/CEO, Aisha Rimi, delivered a goodwill message, reiterating the Commission's unwavering commitment to championing investor confidence and facilitating meaningful, transformative investments across Nigeria.
Spanning 4,000 hectares, the Free Trade Zone is designed with world-class infrastructure, dynamic industrial clusters and massive job-creation potential, positioning Kogi State as a fast-rising hub for innovation, productivity and sustainable economic growth.
