Reviving a legacy. Rebuilding an industry. Opening up opportunity.
The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) joined key national and international partners at a strategic meeting convened by the Honourable Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Sen. John Owan Enoh, to drive the revitalisation of Nigeria's Cotton, Textile and Garment (CTG) value chain.
With stakeholders including the Bank of Industry, Nigerian Export-Import Bank, Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the conversation focused on transforming the CTG sector into a major engine for industrial growth.
From developing CTG industrial parks to strengthening policies, mobilising financing and boosting demand for locally produced textiles, the goal is clear: restore Nigeria's textile industry as a powerhouse for jobs, manufacturing and exports.
NIPC remains committed to attracting and facilitating the investments that will power Nigeria's industrialisation and sustainable economic growth.
