Partnerships rooted in history. Driven by shared prosperity.

On the margins of the State Visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) to the United Kingdom, NIPC, in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), convened a high-level Nigeria–UK Investment Roundtable under the theme 'Nigeria and the UK: Commonwealth Partners in a Changing Global Economy', bringing together key policymakers and industry leaders including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance Wale Edun, and senior presidential advisers.

Discussions highlighted Nigeria's strengthening economic fundamentals, from ongoing tax reforms and the Economic Development Incentive (EDI) to major infrastructure projects such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Nigerian Single Window. NIPC's Executive Secretary/CEO, Aisha Rimi, reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to positioning Nigeria as a premier investment destination, highlighting the One-Stop Investment Centre (OSIC) and the Commission's post-investment support services.

With a liberal investment climate, full foreign ownership, guaranteed profit repatriation, and opportunities across agriculture, manufacturing, mining, energy, healthcare, fintech and the creative economy, Nigeria continues to offer compelling prospects for global investors, with AfCFTA opening up access to a continental market of over 1.4 billion people.
