NIPC Strengthens Nigeria-Ghana Investment Ties at Africa Shea Industry Summit

Africa's shea story took centre stage, and Nigeria showed up with purpose and power.

NIPC's Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi, joined the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr John Owan Enoh, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, to represent Nigeria at a high-level gathering of policymakers and industry leaders driving Africa's shea industry forward.

On the sidelines, the Nigerian delegation held strategic engagements with Ghana's President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, and Vice President, H.E. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, deepening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for trade, investment and cooperation. At the business roundtable, Ms Rimi drove discussions on trade and investment expansion, value chain development and regional collaboration.

The engagement reinforced Nigeria's position as a formidable force within Africa's shea ecosystem, and reflects NIPC's broader mission of opening up opportunities, strengthening investor confidence, and connecting Nigeria to continental markets through frameworks such as AfCFTA.
