Meaningful reforms begin with meaningful conversations; and NIPC is helping shape both.
The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in a Direct Engagement Session with the Presidential Petroleum Reform & Value Optimisation Taskforce (PPRVOT), reaffirming its commitment to advancing policies that strengthen Nigeria's investment climate.
The engagement followed the incorporation of NIPC's key recommendations into the memorandum submitted by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI). Following a detailed review of the submission, the Taskforce invited the Ministry and its agencies for further discussions to refine policy proposals aimed at unlocking greater value across Nigeria's petroleum sector.
Held on 23 July 2026 at the Chief of Staff Conference Room, State House, Abuja, the engagement brought together stakeholders committed to positioning Nigeria's petroleum industry for greater efficiency, competitiveness and sustainable investment.
NIPC participated as part of the FMITI delegation led by the Honourable Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh. Representing the Commission were Zainab Ochojila, Deputy Director, External Relations, and Edith Udo-Udofia, Deputy Director, National Competitiveness.
At NIPC, every policy dialogue is an opportunity to create a more competitive business environment, strengthen investor confidence and unlock sustainable economic growth for Nigeria.
