From surviving to scaling. From ideas to investment. From potential to impact.

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) joined key players at the 6th Annual MSME & Startup Economic Summit 2026 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, themed "Digitizing MSMEs for Unlocking Nigeria's Non-Oil Revenue & Economic Growth".

Representing NIPC, Mr Emmanuel Longza, Head, Investment Promotion Department, delivered the keynote address, "Investment, Capital & Enterprise Growth Perspective", spotlighting a critical shift for Nigerian businesses: moving beyond survival-oriented financing to growth and investment capital.

He emphasised the importance of building investment-ready, formalised and scalable businesses that can compete, attract capital and access markets locally and globally.

The conversation continued on the panel session, "Financing MSMEs for Non-Oil Export and Growth", where stakeholders explored practical ways to unlock private capital, strengthen enterprise capacity, connect businesses to investors and build stronger value chains.

For NIPC, supporting MSMEs and startups is about more than promoting investment. It is about creating pathways for businesses to grow, attracting capital, strengthening investor linkages and accelerating Nigeria's economic diversification beyond oil.

NIPC is committed to helping turn enterprise potential into investment, investment into growth, and growth into sustainable economic impact.
