The maiden edition of the Ekiti State Economic Development and Investment Summit, tagged "Fountain Summit 2021", took place on Thursday 14 October 2021. The summit, themed "Investment Attractiveness and Economic Development — Lessons for Sub-nationals", was designed to showcase the progress Ekiti has made over the preceding three years and to advance discussions on investment promotion and ease of doing business in the State.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo declared the Summit open, while speakers included Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State. NIPC participated as part of its collaboration with the Ekiti State government to advance the State's investment prospects and economic development.
