Acting Executive Secretary/CEO of NIPC, Mr Emeka Offor, paid a courtesy call on Executive Director/CEO of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Dr Ezra Yakusak, where both agencies committed to hosting more joint events to maximise engagement with investors.
"When investors make an investment, ultimately some of them will export outside Nigeria. At joint events, when we speak with investors and they come in, NEPC would speak on preparing them for the export market," said Mr Offor, emphasising the initiative's potential to strengthen economic development. Dr Yakusak described the relationship between both organisations as symbiotic: "Our doors are always open for collaboration with NIPC."
NIPC and NEPC have an existing track record of collaboration, with NEPC playing a key supporting role in the Nigerian Trade and Investment Forum (NTIF) at Expo 2020 Dubai, organised by NIPC. Mr Offor also congratulated Dr Yakusak on his recent appointment as NEPC Executive Director/CEO.
