NIPC Pledges Support for Upcoming Nigeria–Ireland Investment Forum in Dublin

NIPC Reception

NIPC has pledged its wholesome support to any initiative by Nigeria's foreign missions that will contribute to the country's economic advancement, following a working visit by Nigeria's Ambassador to Ireland, Mrs Ijeoma Obiezu.

Ag. ES/CEO Mr Emeka Offor commended the Ambassador for her work in deepening economic ties between Ireland and Nigeria through targeted engagements with Enterprise Ireland, the Irish-Nigeria Business Association, and the Nasarawa and Bayelsa State governments, among others. He assured that the Commission will work closely with the Embassy to ensure a successful staging of the Nigeria–Ireland Investment Forum, scheduled for 30 June – 2 July 2022 in Dublin.

"We believe that the best approach to attaining maximum traction in attracting investment is when we have a holistic engagement of relevant actors working as a team — a whole-of-government approach. It creates a greater impact when all are involved instead of working in individual silos," Mr Offor said. He outlined plans to engage sister agencies including NEPC, NEXIM, NEPZA, and relevant Federal Ministries as members of the Local Organising Committee.
