NIPC's Executive Secretary and CEO Hajiya Saratu Umar presented 'Prospects for Business Opportunities in Nigeria' at the Nigeria–Korea Business Forum in Seoul, attended by a delegation of over 200 from Nigeria including members of the National Assembly and CEOs of major government agencies.
Executive Secretary Umar emphasised that NIPC is an African industry leader at the forefront of Nigeria's investment ecosystem, and that through NIPC, the goal of making Nigeria one of the world's top investment destinations for private capital will be actualised. She highlighted Nigeria's position as Africa's largest economy, with a population of over 200 million and high returns on investment across multiple sectors.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Executive Secretary Umar met with Heerim Architecture and Engineers, a Korean firm carrying out design and construction management projects across several African countries. Heerim expressed its intention to actively participate in infrastructure planning across Nigeria, including airports, public institutions, cultural and sports facilities, and residential complexes.
