On 26 September 2024, the Head of NIPC's South East Zonal Office (SEZO) and his team paid a courtesy visit to the newly inaugurated Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) to foster collaboration and attract investment in Enugu's energy and power sector.
EERC is an independent regulatory authority focused on regulating electricity operations across the state and developing a commercially viable, sustainable, and reliable energy market for residents, businesses, and industrial clusters.
During the visit, the Head of SEZO presented the objectives and functions of NIPC to the EERC Chairman and his team, highlighting potential growth areas and opportunities for investment in Enugu's energy landscape.
