The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) is actively promoting agribusiness investment to enhance economic growth and food security. NIPC's Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi, alongside His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, visited the ABIS Group facility in Abuja, which is set to become a significant livestock and poultry processing hub with the capacity to process 1,000 cattle and 16,000 chickens daily.
The project will also include a fish farm and a farmers' market, generating approximately 1,000 jobs. NIPC's involvement underscores its dedication to attracting strategic investments that support economic diversification and strengthen local supply chains.
As the facility approaches completion, it is expected to enhance Nigeria's position as a leading destination for agribusiness investment, reflecting NIPC's continued commitment to facilitating high-impact projects that drive food security and inclusive economic growth.
