The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in the 3-day National Anti-Corruption Conference (TAC'25), held from 22-24 April 2025 at Vinpy Hotels, Akwa Ibom State, and represented by Mrs Edith Udo-Udofia, Deputy Director, Policy Advocacy, and Mr Yusuf Mohammed, Principal Executive Officer, Internal Audit.
Organised by the House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption and themed "Fostering Collaboration in Enhancing Transparency within MDAs", the conference served as a platform for members of Anti-Corruption and Transparency Units (ACTUs) across MDAs to exchange insights, embrace innovative tools like artificial intelligence, and chart a collaborative path toward improved governance standards.
Key sessions explored the role of leadership in promoting accountability and transparency, drawing on artificial intelligence to strengthen governance, and developing an actionable framework for enhancing transparency across MDAs. NIPC delegates also engaged with stakeholders including the Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
For NIPC, participation in the conference underscores its commitment to institutional integrity, transparency and accountability, all vital to building investor confidence and promoting a conducive business environment in Nigeria.
