The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Ms Aisha Rimi, participated in the Katsina State Climate Action and Green Investment Summit, held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Organised by the Katsina State Government under the theme "Turning Climate Challenges into Development Opportunities in Katsina State", the summit convened a high-level audience comprising representatives of international organisations, Honourable Ministers, heads of key MDAs, private sector stakeholders, and members of the diplomatic corps.
A key highlight of the event was the official unveiling of the Katsina Green Growth Agenda (KAGGA), a framework aimed at attracting green investments, enabling climate-resilient livelihoods, and stimulating innovation to address environmental challenges while driving sustainable economic growth in the state.
NIPC's participation underscores the Commission's strategic role in aligning investment promotion efforts with national climate goals and the global sustainable development agenda, reinforcing its commitment to facilitating impactful investments that balance economic prosperity with environmental stewardship and social inclusion.
