In furtherance of the Commission's commitment to upholding procurement integrity and aligning fully with the national regulatory framework, the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Ms Aisha Rimi, accompanied by the Chief Procurement Officer, Sirajo Muhammad Sabiu, paid a strategic working visit to the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Dr Adebowale A. Adedokun, MCIPS, ACFE, at his office.
The visit emphasised the critical importance of inter-agency collaboration in strengthening compliance with the Federal Government's Public Procurement Standards and advancing the principles of the recently introduced Nigeria First policy, prioritising local content, value retention, and national development in all procurement decisions. Additionally, both agencies committed to upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and due process.
This engagement reflects NIPC's ongoing commitment to institutional excellence, ethical governance, and the support and promotion of best practices in line with Nigeria's investment and development goals.
