NIPC Joins WIMA West Africa Stakeholders Workshop on Women in Agriculture 01

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in the WIMA West Africa Stakeholders Workshop held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja. Representing the Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi, was the Director of Investor Relations, Mrs Lovina Kayode, who underscored NIPC's commitment to opening up investment opportunities in Nigeria's agricultural sector.

During a high-level panel, Mrs Kayode spotlighted government-backed incentives such as the Pioneer Status Incentive (PSI), a key driver for attracting private investment into women-led agribusinesses.

Through strategic collaboration, the barriers limiting women's access to mechanised farming can be dismantled, scaling up inclusive growth.

NIPC remains a catalyst for change, connecting visionary entrepreneurs with investors and policy tools to transform agriculture across Nigeria and West Africa.
