The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), represented by Hajja Gana Wakil, Director of Investment Promotion, and Ms Florence Njegbu, Assistant Director of Investment Promotion, participated in the closing ceremony of Turkish Cuisine Week 2025 at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye in Abuja.
The week-long celebration spotlighted the richness of Turkish culinary heritage, with every dish at the Abuja event prepared by Turkish chefs, showcasing flavours and traditions that connect cultures across borders.
A key highlight was the introduction of H.E. Mehmet Poroy, the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, who expressed interest in paying a courtesy visit to NIPC as a step toward deepening economic cooperation between both nations.
With a strong Nigeria-Turkiye trade relationship in sectors like agriculture, raw materials, manufacturing and infrastructure, NIPC remains committed to promoting strategic partnerships that align with Nigeria's investment goals and global outreach.
