NIPC Reception

The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) participated in the Afri-Caribbean Trade and Investment Expo in St Kitts and Nevis, a platform for deepening economic, cultural and strategic cooperation between Africa and the Caribbean.

A delegation led by Mr Abdullahi Shiru, Deputy Director of Strategic Services, played a central role in key events, including a high-level panel on "Empowering Afro-Caribbean Trade: MSME Investment and Value Chain Opportunities", where Mr Shiru delivered insights on opening up cross-continental investment, growing MSMEs and integrating value chains.

NIPC also took part in the Agriculture and MSME Workshop, with contributions from Mr Oladipupo Baruwa and Mr Fenegal Iyamba, focusing on sustainable agriculture, small business growth, e-commerce and cultural exchange.

Capping off the mission, the NIPC team met with the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, where strategic ties were strengthened and support was expressed for a forthcoming Memorandum of Intent between NIPC and the St Kitts Investment Promotion Agency, a step toward institutional collaboration and mutual economic advancement.
