On 29–30 July 2025, NIPC participated in the 2025 Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Lecture, held at the historic Arewa House in Kaduna. Representing the Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi, were Abubakar Yerima, Director of Strategic Services, and Abdulrahman Adamu, Principal Investment Officer, who reaffirmed NIPC's commitment to driving inclusive and sustainable investment across Nigeria.
Themed "Assessing Electoral Promises: Fostering Government-Citizen Engagement for National Development", the two-day event brought together governors, ministers, diplomats, and development leaders to reflect on governance, economic transformation, and the legacy of Sir Ahmadu Bello. For NIPC, the event served as a platform for strategic alignment, yielding key policy insights on deepening subnational investment partnerships, aligning investment promotion with inclusive national goals, and enhancing economic opportunities in Northern Nigeria.
Going forward, NIPC aims to foster stronger regional investment ecosystems, support youth-driven enterprise development, and bridge federal-subnational collaboration for sustainable growth, remaining committed to enabling an investment climate that works for all Nigerians, from the grassroots to global investors.
