On 13 August 2025, the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) welcomed Ms Aisha Maina, Managing Director of Aquarian Consult Ltd, to its headquarters for a strategic discussion on collaboration for the Afri-Caribbean Investment Summit (AACIS) 2026.
AACIS 2026 is scheduled to come to Abuja from 25–28 March 2026. The summit is expected to bring together 15 to 20 Heads of Government from across Africa and the Caribbean, with a programme centred on two major investment themes: Agriculture & Food Security, and Health.
The engagement explored how NIPC can play a pivotal facilitation role in positioning Nigeria as a strategic gateway for Afri-Caribbean partnerships, fostering sustainable growth, regional cooperation, and long-term business opportunities between the two regions.
NIPC remains committed to championing Nigeria's role at the centre of South-South investment corridors, ensuring that emerging economies can connect, collaborate, and build shared prosperity through structured, high-impact summits like AACIS.
