At the launch of Investopedia by the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF), Nigeria's leaders unveiled a one-stop investment gateway showcasing credible, bankable projects across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Backed by Afreximbank, UNDP, and the Ministry of Finance (MOFI), the initiative positions Nigeria on the global stage (from the UN General Assembly to the Africa Investment Forum) as a prime destination for investment.
Why Does This Matter?
Closing Nigeria's $100 billion annual infrastructure gap requires more than public funds. With transparency, credibility, and curated project pipelines, Investopedia opens the door for both global and local capital to flow into Nigeria's highest-priority development projects.
NIPC was well represented at the event, with the team led by Executive Secretary/CEO Ms Aisha Rimi, alongside Hajiya Aisha Wando (Deputy Director, Head of States Coordination Department) and Mr Emmanuel Longza (Deputy Director, Investment Promotion), demonstrating NIPC's strategic role at the heart of Nigeria's investment ecosystem.
