Nigeria–China Investment Cooperation in Action.
The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), in partnership with COVEC, is deepening cross-border collaborations that are shaping the future of Nigeria's industrial and sustainable growth.
In a dynamic week of engagement, NIPC and COVEC hosted two major Chinese investment delegations at Sebore Farms in Adamawa State, one of Nigeria's emerging agro-industrial and export-processing zones.
Anhui Huan'an New Energy Technology Co. Ltd (27–28 October 2025) explored Sebore's potential and confirmed plans for a 100MW solar power plant, with feasibility studies and regulatory steps already underway.
HeRun Technology (Yunnan) Co. Ltd (2–3 November 2025) capped its visit by signing an MoU to kick-start the process of establishing a joint venture for electric vehicle manufacturing within Sebore's Export Processing Zone.
Representing NIPC, Mr Bala Bature, Chief Investment Officer (OSIC), emphasised the Commission's unwavering role in facilitating impactful partnerships that drive industrialisation, innovation and investment confidence.
The Commission will continue to work with its partners to turn investment intent into industrial impact.
