Nigeria-China Forum Charts a Bold Path for Investment and Industrial Growth

NIPC Reception

From Guangzhou, 2-4 November 2025, Nigeria's investment story took centre stage in China. The Nigeria-China Business Roundtable & Investment Forum showcased Nigeria's vast potential, hosted at the Window of Canton by CCPIT Guangzhou, in partnership with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), with strong backing from the Nigerian Consulate-General.

Leading the Nigerian delegation were Engr Jani Ibrahim, President of NACCIMA; H.E. Amb George Collins, Consul General of Nigeria; and Mr Abubakar Yerima, Director of Strategic Services at NIPC, representing the Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Aisha Rimi. Together, they engaged top CCPIT officials and over 40 leading Chinese investors, driving concrete pathways for industrial and trade partnerships.

In his keynote, Mr Yerima spotlighted Nigeria's priority sectors (from EV and battery manufacturing, renewable energy, and solid minerals to ICT, building materials and agro-processing), reaffirming NIPC's commitment through its One Stop Investment Centre (OSIC) to deliver smooth facilitation and investor support.

Beyond dialogue, the mission featured factory visits and B2B matchmaking sessions, opening up tangible opportunities for collaboration and growth, and marking a new benchmark in strategic cooperation between Nigeria and China.
