The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) joined top policymakers, private sector leaders and development experts at the 2nd Paul Alaje Colloquium, held at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja, under the theme "Breaking the Cycle: How Nigeria Can Lead Africa from Poverty to Prosperity."
The event unpacked bold ideas and practical pathways to open up Nigeria's full economic potential for the benefit of the entire continent, with key conversations exploring Nigeria's leadership role in driving Africa's prosperity, breaking poverty cycles through smart, inclusive policies, and strengthening governance, security and institutions.
Other discussions focused on drawing on technology, innovation and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) for growth, and empowering the private sector to lead national development, providing actionable insights for shaping a more resilient and competitive Nigerian economy.
NIPC, represented by Engr Saviour Umoette and Mr Abubakar Raji Anas, highlighted the Commission's commitment to promoting a conducive environment for investment, driving economic transformation, and supporting initiatives that move Nigeria closer to prosperity.
