The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) joined stakeholders at the 2nd African Cassava Conference 2025, held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, from 17-19 November. This year's theme, "Building Sustainable & Quality-Driven Cassava Industries in Africa," spotlighted one mission: transforming cassava from basic processing to a powerhouse value chain.
From improved seedlings and modern machinery to opening up new cassava-based products, the conversations focused on boosting farmers' capacity and scaling agro-industrial growth across the continent.
Representing the Commission was Mr Emeka Nwachukwu, Assistant Director, Department of Investment Promotion, reiterating NIPC's commitment to advancing Nigeria's agro-investment landscape.
Building stronger value chains, powering African agribusiness, and opening up investment opportunities remain at the heart of NIPC's engagement in the sector.
